Washington & Jefferson College - Pathway
Washington & Jefferson College traces its roots to 1781, when it was founded by graduates of Princeton University. In 1970 W&J trustees authorized admission of first women undergraduate students. Washington & Jefferson College has ever since been deemed as one of the nation's oldest, and most distinguished four-year liberal arts co-education institution for bachelor's studies.
Today, Washigton & Jefferson College has expanded both in terms of academics and student body. Washington & Jefferson College has a total enrollment of 1,396 students, of which 1386 are full-time, and 10 are part-time. Its diverse student body consists of about 5% international and 22% out-of-state students. Washington & Jefferson College also helps international students bridge their english language challenges through its pathbreaking English Learning Instutite that admisters english learning course for both undergraduate and graduate students.
