School Description

Founded in 1866, University of Kansas prides itself with 150 years of education experience and today is among the nation's major public research and teaching institutions. In order to qualify for admissions at the University of Kansas, prospective international students must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and a proof of English language proficiency through an accredited English language test such as the TOEFL or IELTS exam. However, should you need further assistance meeting these requirements, you are advised to enroll in one of University of Kansas' International Accelerator Programs (IAP), which is designed to support international students in transitioning to a student life in the United States by providing them with further academic and English language training while still earning credit hours towards a bachelor's degree program at the University of Kansas.
