Olympic College traces it's roots back to 1946 when it opened doors as Olympic Junior College. Olympic College initially enrolled 575 students of which 423 men and 152 women at its main campus building located in Bremerton, Washington.
Today, Olympic College has expanded from a two-year community college to a higher learning institute offering selected four-year bachelor's courses. Olympic College campus sprawls across 33 acres in Bremerton with two satellite campus extensions in Poulsbo and Shelton in Washington. Olympic College's three campuses combined serve an average of 12,000 students annually from within Kitsap and Mason counties. Olympic College gives its students opportunity to transfer their credits and complete bachelors degree on completion of associate degree at one of its local partner schools like Washington State University and Western Washington University.

Financial Aid & Scholarship
The Olympic College Foundation offers scholarship opportunities to Olympic College students or high school students planning to attend Olympic College. The Foundation will provide over $900,330 in scholarship support to OC students for the 2017-2018 academic year including general, nursing and the Herbert Goodman Merit Scholarship awards.
All Foundation scholarships are privately funded and subject to criteria established by the donor. Awards are based on many factors, so please read carefully and respond to the criteria for each individual scholarship. Award amounts are determined by the donor. The Foundation is not responsible for scholarships withdrawn by the donor.
Olympic College named as TOP 10 community college in the nation according to the Aspen Institute!
Olympic College was recognized for steadily improving the retention of some of the least academically prepared students, establishing close ties with industry, and creating pathways to a bachelor’s degree — including a collaborative engineering program it runs with Washington State University.
College Choice named Olympic College #16 community college in the nation
College Choice has correlated data from Aspen Institute’s College Excellence Program, Payscale, and individual community colleges to compile a list of the 50 best community colleges in the country. We considered several factors in developing an institutional performance score, including first year retention rates, three-year graduation rates, credentials awarded, etc. We also factored percentage of non-traditional and minority students, and minority graduation rates in order to create a diversity score. Finally, we compared tuition rates and potential salary to get a sense of the return on investment.
