University of Worcester (UW) founded in 1946, has established a reputation for world-class teaching and practical purposeful research. The University is vibrant and forward-looking and known for the quality of its degrees, with employers actively seeking out its graduates.
UW has had many milestones over its history; such as its degrees being validated by the CNAA under the title of Worcester College of Higher Education or the agreement concluded with the Coventry University for the validation of its degree courses in 1992; the most recent milestone was opening of The Hive, a great facility that will dramatically increase the learning resources, technology, study and social spaces available to US students. UW has also initiated projects such as a Student Online Environment (SOLE) and Student Academic Representatives (SIARS) which ensures that every student has a level of support and representation throughout their studies.
