As an adult student who began university in 1987 it was scary to return and be surrounded by a younger crowd. However, there were great supports within the adult learning program, Menno Simons College and every instructor was willing to take extra time. I am glad I attended University of Winnipeg.

U of W has a great selection of programs. They also have a fantastic grasp on optimal class sizes enabling better interaction with the professors.

For myself, deciding to study for and achieve a degree mid-career, the University of Winnipeg was a great experience. All of the faculty were very approachable and course material fresh and relevant. I found that many of the facult truly did help me to elevate my critical thinking and help me better understand a vast amount of new knowledge. I will be encouraging my own children to look at the University of Winnipeg one day soon when they are looking at Post Secondary options. The location worked well for me too as I was working downtown and could grab a bus from my office to attend classes and then run back to the office after class. I proudly tell anyone who will listen that I am a graduate from the University of Winnipeg.
