The University of Montreal is a research orientated university in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is a francophone institution, and ranked as the French-speaking world's best comprehensive university. UdeM is a large university which offers more than 650 undergraduate and graduate programs.

School Description

The University of Montreal was previously known as Université Laval à Montréal, before it's name change to the modern Université de Montréal. The university's sports teams are known as the Montreal Carabins, of which there are 15 intramural "varsity" teams. Alumi of Udem include 10 of the Premiers of Quebec, as well as a Prime Minister of Canada.
