University of Kentucky - Master's Degree
University of Kentucky was founded in 1865 as the Agricultural and Mechanical (A&M) College of Kentucky University. Two years later, the university had an enrollment of 190 students and 10 faculty. The university officially changed its name to the University of Kentucky in 1916, the same year the College of Home Economics was founded. The university of Kentucky Alumni Association was established in 1889, and over the years notable graduates of UK include professional basketball players Rajon Rondo and Anthony Davis, Actress Ashley Judd, and Senator Mitch McConnell.
The University of Kentucky has a diverse community, and over 550 organizations that students can participate in. UK is still continuing to grow, investing over $1.8 billion in construction projects in areas that include living spaces, classrooms, and research facilities. UK has over 30,000 students enrolled, which is the highest number that UK has ever had.
