School Description

University of Calgary was established in 1966, and has graduated over 160,000 alumni from 152 countries. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2016, the University of Calgary is aiming to be one of Canada's top five research institutions. The University of Calgary has an international presence, with a faculty of Nursing in its Qatar campus that was established in 2007.

The University of Calgary has over 30,000 students with the majority being undergraduate students. UCalgary students have the opportunity to participate in exchange, group study, and internship opportunities as part of UCalgary's study abroad program. The Active Living department at UCalgary provides students, staff, and the community access to many outdoor activities and recreations.
