School Description

The University of Bristol was established in 1876 as University College, Bristol. The college went through some financial difficulties up until 1909, when it officially became the University of Bristol. Students at the university have a great opportunity to explore the city of Bristol, which offers sports event, plenty of greenery and a unique music scene.

The University of Bristol has over 18,000 students. The university offers a unique student experience, with many facilities provided that includes libraries, IT facilities and study spaces. In fact, the university was recognized for the student experience it offers in 2015, when it won the City Life category at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards.
