School Description

University of Bedfordshire was formed in August 2006 as a result of the union between De Montfort University's campus in Bedford and the University of Luton, an institution whose roots can be traced back from as early as 1908 when it was established as the Luton Modern School before becoming a university in 1993.

Today, University of Bedfordshire is composed of four faculties and its main campus in Luton is home to 7 academic departments through which the university offers over 100 bachelor's degree and over 70 master's degree programs in areas of business, media, art and design, science, computing, law, psychology, and social sciences. The Luton campus is a £34 million funky and functional, state-of-the-art facility that is strategically located in the heart of town, with an accessible reach to a large shopping mall, student halls, train and bus stations. University of Bedfordshire is home to over 24,000 students from over 100 countries worldwide.
