St George’s University of London (St George's) is a medical university located in Tooting, South London. St George's offers over 20 master’s degree programs in Medicine and Health Sciences. The faculty of Health, Social Care and Education is a collaboration between St George's and Kingston University. This partnership has allowed for the development of many courses, including Nursing, Midwifery and Child Health, and Occupational Therapy.

School Description

St George’s University of London (St George’s) provides students with a firm foundation to build a career in the global healthcare sector. St George’s offers a wide range of masters degrees in a range of medical fields including Clinical Genomics, Global Health, Physician Associate Studies and Physiotherapy that develop a students clinical and research skills. St George’s offers valuable career support to all students. In collaboration with The Careers Group, University of London a range of events are organized for all students to attend. A variety of facilities and laboratories are available to students such as clinical skills laboratories that help student perfect basic skills; the dissection facilities used by the London Deanery of Surgeons who train students occasionally. These help students secure placements at hospitals. Majority of St George's alumni have gone on to pursue a career in various medical fields, they often return to St George's to deliver talks about career paths and share valuable insight with students. A few of St George's notable alumni include, Sir Francis Darwin, a botanist and son of Charles Darwin; William Hunter, a physician; and Henry Marsh, a distinguished neurosurgeon.
