        1990-1994, BA

Reed is an incredibly challenging educational experience that rewards a single-minded commitment to academic work. As with all liberal arts education, it does not have a direct application in the 'real world', but it does more to teach thinking skills than just about anywhere. There is virtually nowhere that has an educational experience like Reed's.

        1991-1995, BA

Read lots of great books and small classes. My education was not terribly applicable to life in the real world, and it was a difficult experience, but I'm glad I went.

Interaction with those from many backgrounds and interests, understanding the connections of ideas, learning how to learn, learning to roll with the intellectual punches, ability to change as the times and opportunities change.
