          • 2005-2011, Master of Business Administration (MBA), Business Administration ; Bachelor of Arts (BA), Communication (Public Relations and Broadcasting)

A popular nickname for Mississippi State is 'the People's University.' What this meant to me during my time at MSU was being able to walk across the Drill Field and encounter many friendly faces. You might not expect that an institution with over 20,000 individuals would feel like a home, but Mississippi State certainly does. I cannot recommend this university highly enough.

          • 2000-2006, BS, Software Engineering

I graduated with a bachelors in Software Engineering while the program was still in the infant stages. I feel like at the time it had some kinks to work out but the Engineering school really excelled at providing and developing a quality program. The professors are top notch and helped me feel like I really earned my degree. They challenged me and helped me understand that the most important skill in engineering is learning how to problem solve. The campus is beautiful and the student body helps preserve that southern tradition of hospitality that we are known for.

          • 1981-1985, Bachelor's degree, Educational Psychology

I entered MSU to study Biological Engineering with dreams of success and wealth. While there, my student adviser helped me to understand that following talents and passions was more important than wealth. That encouragement and direction led me to respond to God's call on my life. I changed my major to Psychology, which God has used as I've traveled the world training pastors and leaders. I am truly thankful for my days at Mississippi State!
