        1978-1981, Certificate, Theatre Arts

Since its founding by Antony Holland nearly 50 years ago, Studio 58, the Theatre Arts department at Langara College, has been renowned across Canada as an excellent theatre school for both performers and production students. Headed by Artistic Director Kathryn Shaw, the faculty and staff are consummate professionals. The programme is demanding and fulfilling; the rewards are inspiring. Studio 58 graduates get, and do, good work.

        2013-2014, Electronic Media Design

When I look back at where I started and where I ended up, in terms of skills and knowledge, I'm amazed I could learn this much in one year. Sadly, the full-time Electronic Media Design course has been cancelled, but I'm sure what replaces it will be good. There is no doubting Langara's commitment to students' education, and they will give willing students real skills for real jobs. I highly recommend.
