1967-1969, Recommendation must wait for divestment

I'd feel better about recommending Harvard to others if it would take the common sense steps involved in divesting from the legacy fossil fuel companies and putting the proceeds into renewable energy investments. Otherwise, Harvard is doing great.

          • Testimony
1964-1970, Harvard had a great Graduate School program in Psychology.

I had great teachers in the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. In the late 1960s there were only 10 graduate students per year in Psychology, and I was proud to be one of them. I learned a lot from Roger Shepard, Roger Brown, S. Smith "Smitty" Stevens, George Miller, Howard Rachlin, and others - several in "Social Relations" (Psychology and Social Relations merged in the late 1970s or early 1980s.) Courses in small groups (R. F. Bales) and in Kinship (D. Maybury-Lewis) taught me a lot about human interactions.
