School Description

Florida State University (FSU) offers a wide range of master's degree programs in subjects such as Creative Writing, Business Administration, Interior Design, Chemical Engineering and Music Therapy. FSU is one of only two Universities to be designated as 'Preeminent' by the Florida Legislature, with resources and funding awarded to advance research and academics. FSU houses over 50 reputed research centers and institutes working on relevant issues such as finding a cure for the Zika virus and developing next-generation solar cells. FSU is home to six Nobel Laureates, and many Fulbright scholars, with six students receiving the scholarship in 2017-18, and eight faculty winning Fulbright grants for 2018-19 with research in several locations around the world, including Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Malawi, Poland and the United Kingdom. Additionally, FSU has a number of notable alumni, including Oscar-winning writer and director Barry Jenkins.
