2006-2007, MBA, Business
I've shared my Cranfield experience with fellow MBAs from top schools across the globe and I'm convinced Cranfield is in a league of its own. A course rooted in real world issues, dealing with practical solutions and populated by mature students that have actually experienced real management & entrepreneurial challenges rather than a bunch of ex-consultants with high GMAT scores and very little to share. Besides an extraordinary self-development programme that puts to test your own status quo. If you want to go about real management, Cranfield is for you.

1976-1977, Master of Business Administration (MBA)
It is hard to accept but it is coming up to 40 years since I studied at Cranfield. I loved my time at Cranfield and am still in touch with friends I made during the course even though we all now live in different cities and on different continents. Either side of the MBA, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of New South Wales and a PhD at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia but it was the MBA which had the biggest, longest-lasting impact on my life. As I mentioned, friendships and contacts have stayed with me but throughout my commercial and then academic careers, lessons learnt at Cranfield continued to inform my work on an almost daily basis. I have now come out of retirement and the key skills needed in my new role are the very same strategic thinking skills I picked up at Cranfield.
2006-2007, MBA, Business Administration and Management, General
I had the privilege of being part of a small group of serving military officers to be offered a place on the full time MBA course in 2006 embedded within a group of individuals from over 20 nations and numerous career paths. In a naval career that lasted almost 30 years it was undoubtedy the most rewarding and challenging experience I have ever undertaken. The positive agenda and attitude of the School of Management Staff (both academic and other) was tremendous and the support of my fellow 112 students was inspirational. I can honestly say I have never worked so hard, been challenged so much, and been rewarded so richly by what I experienced.
