High quality education. Comprehensive coverage. Industry-experienced lecturers. Very cosmopolitan. Prepared you 360 degrees in your field of education. Very up to date. At that time 1970-72 it was Bournemouth College of Technology. Bournemouth is a student town, compact but modern with all the amenities of a big city but without the hassle of a big city & very friendly, with the best weather in the British Isles, & culturally brilliant. Very memorable stay & the best in my culminating formative years of higher education. Very correct choice made by a placement agency for me. The comprehensiveness of education helped me to use the tools I learned there to apply in my professional life to reach the top position in my family enterprise & expand the business exponentially.
I attended Bournemouth University in 2005/2006. I can still vividly recall the welcoming atmosphere; the quality interaction and support of the faculty and the International Office; the high standards the lecturers brought to us and expected from us; excellent student services and facilities and the many solid friendships I made and still maintain. While there, I was elected President of the Bournemouth University International Students Association (ISA)and served for one year with a fabulous and dynamic Committee and Membership of students from around the world. It allowed me to experience firsthand the wealth of culture, talent, brilliance and togetherness of the student body that makes Bournemouth Univeristy such a vibrant place to be. The location is absolutely beautiful too. I am happy to recommend Bournemouth University as a great place for any International Student.
When I was at the Dorset Institute of Higher Education, now called Bournemouth University, I had the time of my life because I wanted to be there. Most of my tutors were worth their money: some not. If you take out the bank loan of your life, be sure you want it and don't settle for second best when it comes to tutors. Ps. The staff of Media Resources are brilliant
