The Chemistry Department has an excellent set of modern instruments (e.g. 400 MHZ NMR), computers, and other equipment which are used by undergraduates in their laboratory courses and in research projects. This is in contrast to large universities where many instruments are reserved for graduate students only. Students at Bishop’s learn much from their extensive use of modern instrumentation and equipment, and benefit greatly from this knowledge in future employment and graduate studies.

            Go Gaiters!

Waking up in the morning to the sound of the squirrels and go cross country skiing before the sun starts shining... what else....

          • Testimony
            2002-2006, BSc

            Fantastic undergraduate experience

I completed two degrees over a 5 year period at Bishop's and could not have been happier with the quality of education I received. The small size ensures that, if you want it, professors have time to dedicate to you. They want to see you succeed and I remember 6am meetings with some profs to review materials before exams!

            I love my Alma mater.

An academic and social experience that is unparalleled in Canada. Going to Bishop's was one of my best decisions of all time.
