San Juan College is a two-year community college located in Farmington, New Mexico, United States. School Description

San Juan College was established in the year 1956 as the Farmington branch of the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanical Arts. In the year 1958, the school's name was changed from Farmington Branch to San Juan Branch, NMSU. In the year 1982, San Juan was given a separate and independent community college status resulting from a country-wide election and then onwards San Juan College came into being.

Today, San Juan College has evolved into one of the largest comprehensive two-year community colleges from its humble beginning as a small branch of New Mexico State University just serving just 25 students. San Juan College annually enrolls more than 15,000 students and ranks fifth in enrollment among all two and four-year colleges in the state. San Juan College offers career-oriented associate degree programmes and certificate courses in areas of business, health sciences, humanities, science, engineering, technology and more. San Juan College has over 20 student clubs and associations catering to interests of students coming from various cultural backgrounds.
