School Description

Riverside City College was initially opened at the same site as the as the Riverside Polytechnic High School in the year 1916 and was originally known as Riverside City College or as Riverside Junior College. The school changed its name to Riverside Community College in the 1960s. In 2008, the Board of Trustees renamed the institution back to Riverside City College.

Riverside City College is reputed for its high quality and affordable education offerings provided on a diverse and dynamic student environment. Riverside City College serves more than 19,000 students each year.
