Portland Community College - Diploma

Portland Community College is a community college Located in the U.S. state of Oregon, Portland. There are four main campuses, which are larger facilities offering two-year degrees and certificate programs. Some programs offered include; Aviation Maintenance, Bioscience, Business Administration, Civil Engineering Technology and many more. Portland Community College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Many programs within the college have accreditation from professional associations.

School Description

Portland Community College was established in 1961 as the adult education program of Portland Public Schools. The name was changed to the Portland Community College District. In 1992, Portland Community College got approval for upgrades and expand its facilities due to its enrollment growth of 25percent.

Today, nearly 78,000 students enrol at PCC every year, making it the largest educational institution in Oregon. Four comprehensive campuses, eight centres and dozens of independent locations throughout the community offer courses and provide student services. Distance Education provides students with an independent online learning environment and the ability to take classes off campus.
