School Description

Montgomery College was established in the year 1946 as "Montgomery Junior College" with its campus site located at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. In 1950 the school acquired the Bliss Electrical School, a private not-for-profit school and moved to Takoma Park. Montgomery started its Rockville campus in 1965 and the Germantown campus in early 1970s.

Montgomery College has expanded its higher education network across Maryland state with its three campuses namely; Rockville, Silver Spring and Germantown. Montgomery College serves over 60,000 students on-campus and online through its three campuses and its student body represents 159 countries around the world.
