Kendall College - Diploma

Kendall College is an American private institution of higher learning located in the city of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Kendall College offers various career-oriented associate and bachelor's degree programmes through its School of Hospitality Management, School of Business and School of Culinary Arts. Kendall College programmes are licensed by the Higher Learning Commission.

School Description

Kendall College was founded as a result of an alliance between a Swedish and Norwegian seminarian of the Methodist church in the year 1934 as Evanston Collegiate Institute. The school was renamed to Kendall College in 1950 in memory of the deceased Curtis P. Kendall who served as Washington's national founder. Kendall College introduced its first business programmes in 1970, later the school of Culinary Arts was also formed in 1985, and eventually in 1987 a hotel and restaurant management course was also included in the curriculum. Kendall College in partnership with Les Roches International school of hotel management also offers student exchange programmes.

Today, Kendall College is a member of the Laureate Education network- a group of 70 campus-based and online schools. The network facilitates international exchange opportunities for professional experience and advanced learning in the US and other global universities. Kendall College at present is home to more than 1,500 students that represent nearly 50 countries. Kendall college is operated by about 30 full-time and 180 core-contributing faculty and staff members. Kendall College boasts being member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and its signature Baking and Pastry Associate programmes are recognized by the American Culinary Federation.
