Houston Community College System - Diploma

Houston Community College System is a community college system that manages the community colleges in Houston, Missouri City, Greater Katy, and Stafford in Texas. Houston Community College System offers over 90 study routes leading to associate degrees, diplomas and career training certificates. The Houston Community College System is accredited as one body by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC) to grant associate degrees.

School Description

Houston Community College System was founded in the year 1927 as the Houston Junior College by the Houston Independent School District. The school later evolved into the University of Houston and the Houston College for African American students. And eventually in the year 1971, the Houston Independent School District found the Houston Community College System.

Houston Community College System is specifically notable for recruiting international students. Houston Community College System has enrolled more than 5,700 students across all of its colleges combined. Houston Community College System offers 90 courses in a wide array of disciplines such as Art and Design, Business, Health Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences and more.
