Foothill College - Diploma
Foothill College was founded in 1957 by a group of local school superintendents and appointed Calvin Flint as its first President. Different names were considered before and later named Foothill Junior College but the "Junior" was dropped in September 1958. Foothill College had its first classes on September 15, 1958, and was accredited the following year. In 2003, a project to renovate began to accommodate more students.
Today, Foothill College has a total of 795 Faculty and Staff, 32 Administrators serving over 14,000 students. In 2015, it was named one of California's Best Community Colleges. Foothill College has a comprehensive intercollegiate athletics programs and many cultural and community events for International Students. Foothill College is also a rich community resource offering many programs and facilities including Olympic Size Swimming Pool, Football Stadium and other Arts and Theaters facilities
