Dean College

Dean College is a private higher education institute located in Franklin, Massachusetts, United States. Dean College offers two-year career training courses and associate degrees in 21 areas of study through its four academic departments. Dean College associate programmes are licensed by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

School Description

Dean College traces its roots back to the year 1865 when it was founded by Dr. Oliver Dean as the Universalist Church. The school was later renamed to Dean Academy, a co-ed residential education institute offering education options to residents of New England region and beyond. Through the years, the institution thrived and developed as the campus was expanded and enrollment grew. Finally in the 1990s, it became Dean College under the leadership of President Paula M. Rooney.

Today, Dean College's campus sprawling across 100 acres in Franklin, Massachusetts is home to 13 residence halls and it welcomes up to 1,400 students from 30 US states and 26 countries across the globe. Dean College offers associate degree programmes in more than 20 areas of study through its four academic departments viz; School of Arts, School of Business, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Palladino School of Dance. Dean College organizes a variety of student clubs and organizations to accommodate a wide range of its students interests.
