School Description

The Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) was founded in 1963 with the mission of developing human potential through quality, relevant and affordable learning opportunities. Both colleges that make up CCS are accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. We are one of the largest Community College Districts in the State of Washington! Our two main campuses located in the city of Spokane are Spokane Falls Community College and Spokane Community College.

International students have many program options here. Students can sign up for the Intensive English Language Program (IELP) to improve their English language skills, earn a high school diploma while studying for their AA degree in our accelerated International High School Completion Program, pursue a university transfer degree, even study for a short study abroad experience. CCS offers an array of multicultural opportunities that celebrate the diversity of the community by hosting events, lectures and exhibits on the campuses.  From the Asian Club to the Arab Culture Club to the Ski Club, there is sure to be something that would fit the interests of international students at CCS.
