Citrus College - Diploma

Citrus College is a two-year community school located in the Glendora suburb of Los Angeles county, California, United States. School Description

Citrus College was founded in the year 1915 by the educator Floyd S. Hayden in Glendora suburb, Los Angeles county, California. 1961 onwards, Citrus College was operated and run by the Citrus Union High School District. In July 1961, the Citrus Community College District was created to include the Azusa and Glendora unified school districts. In 1967, the district expanded to include the Claremont, Duarte and Monrovia school districts.

Today, Citrus College holds the distinction of being the oldest public community college in Los Angeles and the fifth oldest in California state. Citrus College provides a wide variety of programmes at the associate degree level in various disciplines, and it also offers certificate courses. Citrus College campus occupies a 104 acre land where it annually serves more than 19,000 students. Citrus College programmes are accredited by the the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
