School Description

Bunker Hill Community College was started in 1973 when its primary campus was inaugurated in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Bunker Hill Community College opened its second campus in the year 1987 in Chelsea to provide higher education study options to the residents of Chelsea.

Today Bunker Hill Community College operates through its two main campuses based in Charlestown and Chelsea along with three more satellite campuses spread throughout the Greater Boston area. BHCC campuses combined enroll over 13,000 students each semester. Bunker Hill Community College at present is home to nearly 1,000 international students that represent 105 countries across the globe and speak about 75 languages. BHCC provides more than 100 academic offerings that lead to associate degrees, certificates and professional diplomas in a wide array of disciplines.
