Westmont College - Bachelor's Degree
With the help of Ruth Kerr, Westmont College was established in 1937 and 3 years later became a liberal arts college committed to delivering quality education founded in the Christian heritage. By 1945, the institution had to relocate to its current site in Santa Barbara to accommodate its growing student population.
Today, Westmont College's 111-acre campus in Santa Barbara is home to over 1,300 students representing 40 states and 36 countries across the world. The campus boasts of 28 major buildings, modern facilities for athletic and recreational purposes, beautiful lawns and gardens, and 5 residence halls that accommodates up to 85% of the student body who live on-campus. Westmont College currently offers bachelor or arts and bachelor of science degrees in up to 26 areas of liberal arts concentrations ranging from arts, biology, communication, computer science, business, political science, religious studies, among many others.
