          • 1992-1997, BA

I was from a small town in Wisconsin and The UW's rich array of top notch educators and staff gave me an accessible but challenging college experience. I was part of the Wisconsin Union Directorate - we were responsible for programming events for the student unions. Every BA candidate had to take science credits, foreign language and multicultural classes in order to graduate. I will forever cherish my time at The University of Wisconsin. It breaks my heart to watch Walker gut the University's budget, because higher education was my way toward upward mobility. Go Badgers!

          • 1977-1981, Ph.D.

          • 1975-1980, BS

Attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduating with a BS in Chemical Engineering remains one of my proudest achievements. Madison is such a special place because of its location with the three lakes and the beauty of the campus. There are so many memories that are always with me; walking up Bascom hill anytime of year, Memorial Union down by Lake Mendota, Football Saturdays and the walks to Camp Randall, and on and on...I cannot imagine going anywhere else and receiving the quality education along with such a plethora of other personal experiences all together in one place.
