University of Oregon - Bachelor's Degree
University of Oregon (UO) can trace its roots back to 1859 when the need for a public university was expressed by Congress. Construction of the university however got underway a little over a decade later. Since then the UO has awarded diplomas to tens of thousands of students who have gone on to become geologists, writers, painters, chemists, lawmakers, dancers and more. It’s alumni over the years include seven governors, two Nobel Prize winners, 13 Pulitzer Prize winners, 19 Rhodes Scholars, 13 Olympic medalists, and six NFL Hall of Famers.
Studying at the University of Oregon means that you’d be welcomed into a community of student and faculty scholars who embrace new ideas and the differences among us. You’d also find that many of UO’s 316 academic programs are ranked among the best in the world, with several among the top ten in the nation. You’d even make strong connections in the Eugene community, a true college town with citizens who celebrate UO student success in classrooms and on the athletic field.
