St Lawrence College has many unique ways to stay ahead of the curb like hybrid-learning, and the entrepreneurial/student focused Enactus group. Time flies by when there's a lot to do. I would recommend this school for all motivated and creative individuals.

I still talk to SLC staff after 30 plus years, where else can you do that. Many people whom I went to school with went on to have successful careers in the high tech world and many others like myself ran their own businesses. If I was to do it over again I still would choose St. Lawrence College.

As a current SLC student in the Business - Accounting program, I must say the biggest difference I've found between St. Lawrence College and the other college I attended was how much they pushed you to network and get involved in the school and local communities. There are many chances to volunteer, many events to be a part of, and the teachers really encourage your participation. As business students, we are constantly reminded that our actions represent who we are to the business world, and we are encouraged to socialize and network with each other, as well as to get involved with activities that interest us. Although I am not a community person by nature, the faculty at St. Lawrence College encouraged me to push past my boundaries and to try new things... leading me to join in the first round of SLC's accounting competition and volunteer with local organizations. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who seriously wants to enter the business market. Although you think you're coming here to learn technical skills, you'll walk away with not only those but also vastly improved soft skills and a network filled with friendly, helpful, and professional individuals.
