            1969-1972, BS, Business

When I came out of the service and moved to Atlanta from Bethesda MD. I visited the OU campus and fell in love with the school. My experience at OU was the best experience I ever had in college. What I really liked were the professors, the students and the atmosphere. The classes were small and my learning was accelerated by the small classes. What a wonderful college for students coming out of HS or the service.

1966-1970, Bachelor of Arts, Liberal Arts

Coming from New Jersey and heading to Atlanta, Ga., in 1966, I was not sure what to expect. I soon realized that my choice of attending OU was a great decision. The adjustment from high school to college at Oglethorpe came easy for me. I studied hard and did well, the years flew by. For me, it was the best 4 years of my life. I played varsity soccer in the fall, and made the baseball team as a non scholarship player. I was a photographer for the newspaper and yearbook. We had a great darkroom and it was really enjoyable. Meeting great new friends and making friendships that have lasted till this day. The education set me on a path of success in the field of corrugated packaging, production, Sales Management and now sales. How lucky am I that my High school adviser recommended Oglethorpe U., to me and my parents.

1981-, Bachelor's Degree, Business Administration and Management, General

When I visited Oglethorpe's campus many years ago that first thing that impressed me were the surroundings. The buildings and their stately grandeur lured me in. The wooded setting in the midst of urban Atlanta was a breath of fresh air. At that point in time Oglethorpe was on the list to be accredited as an Ivy League School, but just missed the mark in name only.
