School Description

Lesley University was established as the Lesley School in 1909. Its initial purpose was the instruction of kindergarten teachers. As the school witnessed academic growth over the years, it became Lesley College in 1945, and gained university status in 2000. Today, Lesley University is one of the largest providers of teacher education in the US.

Lesley University has enrolls around 7,500 students each year, with international students making up 5% of total enrolment. Students can find many student organizations available that they can be a part of. The Student Activities Fair, which is an event that is held at the start of the Fall and Spring semesters, provides students with the information they need to find the student organization for them.
