School Description

KPU is part of the Pacific Wester Athletic Association, with 6 varsity teams. The teams are known as the Kwantlen Eagles. The university also has a large student association, the Kwantlen Student Association which is in charge of directing student funds for the student body.

            My experience at KPU in the 4 years I have been attending has been phenomenal! Small class sizes help learning and really connecting with all the students in your program. Also, the KSA is always putting on great events in the courtyard that bring the entire campus together. All campuses have unique layouts and the atmosphere is very positive and friendly.

            The learning criteria set by the Kwantlen School of Business requires students to perform at industry standard in order to be successful in their degree programs. I have learned and applied these experience through the partnerships with local businesses in various audit projects. Being immersed in these various industries gave me an amount of knowledge that can't simply be learnt through lectures and textbook. I highly recommend students who want on-the-job experience to seek this institution for your future!

            I learned so much from Art Coren and David Ross while I was at Kwantlen. Both professors had quite different , but engaging ways of leveraging their past experiences to tell great stories. David was very hard on us at times, but his intentions were always clear. He wanted to prepare us for the reality of the job market. Art was a little more creative in his ways of teaching but just as effective. He made us think outside the box. Both of these guys helped me evolve as a Entrepreneur . They laid the foundation for who I am as a leader today. I cannot express how much I appreciate , how much they inspired me to do more and expect more of myself and the people around me. All the above said the best part of learning from them , was it was a lot of fun. If Kwantlen Polytechnic University hired these guys, I am sure they have hired a few more.
