Grand Canyon University - Bachelor's Degree
Grand Canyon University was founded by the Southern Baptist Church in 1949. It was initially known as Grand Canyon College, and the first campus was located in Prescott, Arizona. After relocating to Phoenix, the institution began developing a strong reputation as a premier Christina university in the state of Arizona. In 2004, the university made a transition to become a for-profit institution.
Grand Canyon University has its main campus in the heart of Phoenix. Among the buildings on campus is a newly constructed state-of-the-art engineering building, and a 6000 seat stadium that is due to be opened later this year. In addition, as part of the accommodations that students can choose from is the GCU Hotel, which is a short distance from campus.
