CUNY, City College - Bachelor's Degree

The design of the three-faced college seal has its roots in the 19th century. It is inspired by the views of a Roman God Janus whose face connects the past and the future. Hence this vision was broadened into three faces to show the students stages from childhood through youth into maturity.

          • 1968-1972, B.S.

Going to C.C.N.Y. opened a whole world that I couldn't imagine. The country today should use this as a foundation to welcome the 'huddled masses yearning to breathe free".

          • 1960-1991, B.A.

When I attended CCNY, it not only had a sterling reputation, not that my presence helped much, but it was also tuition free!A combination of social promotion and political correctness did CCNY in. I believe CCNY has now recovered most of its reputation, now we only need to resume free tuition.

          • 1960-1965, BA

I took a B.A, program where I was able to study diverse subjects from Shakespeare to Logic to Russian Lit. to Sociology. Truly a gift, appreciated more, as I grew older.
