School Description

Cal Poly Pomona began as the southern branch of the California Polytechnic School (today known as Cal Poly San Luis Obispo) in 1938 and became independent in 1949. California State Polytechnic University, Pomona is one of two polytechnics in the California State University system and one of only seven in all of the United States. The university is designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
