School Description

Auburn University is built on a large land area spanning 1,841 acres and comprises of 427 buildings out of which 206 are dedicated to academics. The university is home to approximately 23,964 degree students from diverse backgrounds. Auburn has 32 well furnished residence halls to cater to students’ accommodation needs as well as a Resident Assistants (RAs) that help new students adjust to life on campus. The university has 3 well-equipped libraries and an e-library that provides access to over 227 electronic databases and has over 10 million archival and manuscript items. Auburn’s student affairs department and Student Government Association (SGA) provide a host of other services to ensure students strike a balance between academics and social life. The Career Center provides guidance and counseling services to help students choose majors that align with their personal interests, skills and academic abilities. It equally provides job assistance to help students learn the skills necessary for a successful job search.
