The Application Journey

Create Account

To build your SchoolApply profile, you will need to answer a few questions about yourself, your academic goals and your finances. We won't share this information with anyone else. Creating a SchoolApply account is the first step in your journey to studying at a university abroad.

Upload documents

The documents you upload will help us determine if we can support you in your goal of studying at a university abroad. You will need to pay a SchoolApply admin fee in order to move on to step 3.

Meet your advisor

Your very own advisor will guide you through the Application Journey. At step 3, you will call your advisor so you can express what is important to you and they can tell you about your options. After the call, your advisor will send you a list of universities you can apply to.

Start application

With SchoolApply, you only need to create one application; your advisor will submit it to the universities for you. For your application, you will need to include your academic history, English and entrance exam results, an essay and reference letters. You will also pay an application fee to each university through SchoolApply.

Submit application

Your advisor will review the things you uploaded in step 4 and will submit your completed application to the universities you selected. You will receive a notification when a university's response comes in.

Accept an offer

This might be one of the most exciting parts of the Application Journey! To accept an offer, you will need to pay a deposit (you can do this through SchoolApply) to confirm your acceptance. Remember: you can only accept one offer!

Visa interview

You will need to go to the embassy of the country where you will be studying to get your student visa. Let your advisor know when the visa interview is scheduled. At this step, we will also offer to help with booking your flight and arranging housing, insurance and student loans.

Study abroad

The final step in your Application Journey is letting us know that you're on your way to university. This step is the easiest because we don't need any information. At this stage, we can close your SchoolApply account.

How do I sign up?

Click on 'login' and follow the instructions. You can sign up by accessing your Facebook or Google account, or by entering your email credentials.
How much is the SchoolApply administration fee and why do I need to pay it?
SchoolApply charges a one-time minimal administration fee of just USD 250.00.

The application process can be confusing and frustrating, that’s why once you sign up with SchoolApply, you will be assigned a personal education advisor who will guide you through each step of the application process.

Your personal education advisor will:
1. 1. Review your entire application
2. 2. Review supporting documents
3. 3. Have an over-the-phone consultation with you
4. 4. Suggest revisions to your application as required
5. 5. Send your application to selected schools
Why do I have to provide proof of finances?
A bank statement showing proof of finance is needed for two reasons:
1. 1. This allows your SchoolApply Education Advisor to determine your budget; and hence find a school that is the right fit for you.
2. 2. This is also one of the required documents when applying for a visa.
Why do I need to provide my transcripts?

Most universities in the US and Canada have a minimum GPA requirement and their calculation of GPA may differ from that of your home country. Our education advisors will use the information provided in your transcripts to calculate your GPA.

Why do I need to take the TOEFL or IELTS?

The TOEFL and IELTS are designed to test your English proficiency. Hence when applying to study in an English-speaking country like the US, UK or Canada, you will be required to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score as proof that you will understand the language once there. These scores are also required during your visa application process.
How can I apply for a scholarship?

Some universities/colleges have scholarship options available for international students. Your education counsellor will further elaborate on this during your application process. However, we do require our students to be able to finance their studies abroad with or without scholarships.
