Post University

Campus experience for everyone

From a tight-knit community to award-winning degree programs, Post offers an all-inclusive campus experience to its students from the School of Arts & Sciences, John P. Burke School of Public Services and Education, and the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business. Even high school students have the opportunity to explore fields of interest and earn college credits prior to graduation from high school through Post’s High School Academy.

Life at Post is exciting because the student body and faculty members build a dynamic, friendly, and respectful community inside and outside the campus. Students have opportunities to get involved on campus and online by sharing their talents, mingling with peers, and building confidence in themselves. There’s a variety of social and educational clubs and organizations available for students. Organizations like Business Society, Sustainability Committee, and Gay Straight Alliance are designed around the needs and interests of the student population. Students are encouraged to join campus organizations as a means of meeting new friends and obtaining experiential learning opportunities outside of class hours.

Living on campus means you’ll also be part of the Post family. The Office of Residence helps students enjoy a healthy and safe living and learning community. There are six residence halls available to students. Each residence hall contains cable television, Wi-Fi, hallway phones, well-lit parking lots, and kitchen and laundry facilities. All residence halls are within close proximity to classrooms, cafeteria, library, and other areas around campus. There are also dining services that offer homemade, gourmet, and nutritious meals suitable for everyone’s taste.

Full-scale support services

At Post, faculty and staff value being there for their students at every step of their university journey. No matter how students earn their degrees — either on campus or online — supportive staff members will always be available to offer advice, counsel and support.

Every student has an assigned team of personal advisors who will help them in completing Post’s financial aid process, choosing the program that matches their skillset and interest, aligning specific career objectives, and finding a job after graduation. The Career Services office is committed to reinforcing the necessary skills needed for students to succeed in the workforce – communication, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, integrity, and professionalism. By working one-on-one with Post’s trained financial aid advisors, students can explore opportunities for financial assistance. They will guide you through the entire search and application process and can answer any questions you might have along the way.

Furthermore, Post also provides counseling to its students. This provides them with a safe place to talk about life and whatever concerns or worries they have in mind. Outreach is also available to student organizations, residence halls, as well as, faculty and staff members. Post welcomes students with disabilities and offers them reasonable access to accommodation, assistive technology, classroom assistance, and more. Additionally, through the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Program, students can save time and money when earning a degree. This program allows students to earn undergraduate college credit for work experience.
