According to USA Today, business is one of the most popular majors among undergraduate students in the US. Specifically among international students however, Business and Management are the most sought after degrees, ahead of Engineering, according to the Open Doors Report (2015). We explore what makes this degree so appealing.
Variety of Specialisations and Careers
Having an inclination and interest in ‘business’ is just the first step towards pursuing a business degree. Business is a broad category that offers specilisations in many areas, which ultimately open the path towards careers in many different industries.
Some of the more popular Business specialisations include: Business Administration, which is for those interested in positions that require leadership and organizational skills. A BBA would lead to careers in managerial roles.
